Mission Statement
We are dedicated to providing safe, effective, and efficient school bus services to the families of Round Lake Area Schools students.
Who is eligible for Transportation?
All students who reside over 1.5 miles from their school of attendance or have to cross a hazardous road, as determined by the Illinois Department of Transportation, will receive free transportation to school.
Transportation for Before and After School Care
Transportation to and from a daycare provider is available. The following guidelines must be followed:
1. Your child must use the same bus stop both to and from school.
2. Your daycare provider must reside in the same school boundry your child resides in or attends and that residence must be eligible for transportation as outlined above in “Who is eligible for Transportation”.
3. Please complete a “Bus Adjustment Form” and return it to your childs school office. Please be advised that if this transportation is approved, this process can take 3-5 days to start the new transportation.
